    Coopmmunity: a digital platform to strengthen the ecosystem of cooperative housing under use-right schemes

    Coopmmunity is a digital platform built on Decidim’s open-source code, designed to support, facilitate, and structure the processes of cooperative housing development. Throughout the project, we applied a co-design approach, involving end users in the design, testing, and validation of the prototype to ensure the platform responds to the real needs of the sector.

    The platform offers tailored services for the various actors in the cooperative housing ecosystem:

  • Managers and promoter group<strong data-start=”734″ data-end=”766″>s: tools for organizing assemblies and working groups, managing votes and proposals, and ensuring transparent and traceable collective processes.

  • <strong data-start=”917″ data-end=”953″>Sectoral representative entities: internal participation spaces, tools for mobilizing housing demand, and channels to promote training sessions and public events.

  • <strong data-start=”1089″ data-end=”1115″>Interested individuals: access to updated information, thematic forums organized by territory, and opportunities to connect with ongoing cooperative initiatives.

  • Coopmmunity is currently active in Valencia and Lisbon as pilot territories and already hosts over 20 validated user profiles. The platform is available as a functional Minimum Viable Product (MVP), and we are working on an internationalization and scaling strategy.
